About The Event
The Annual Fun and Colour of Margate Carnival returns on, First Sunday in August, starting at Palm Bay Avenue at 14:30 (2.30 pm), heading along the sea road route, past the Lido, Wintergardens, Police Station, Turner Contemporary, Margate Beach, then into Westbrook turning off and back onto the sea road, at Royal Esplanade finishing around 18:00 (6 pm), as always, there will be colorful floats, music, carnival queens, plus the funfair.
